We finished mixing the new record yesterday and signed-off on the sequence this morning. I can hardly contain my feelings about this record and the guys that helped make it. Today we send it off to my great friend (and excellent engineer) Hans DeKline for mastering. This album is the sound, cinema, poetry and feel that I've been missing as a music lover. Been looking for a record like this for quite some time, there's a lot of great stuff out there but haven't really found "this." So glad we managed to capture a collection so simultaneously raw and elegant, intimate, honest, violent, beautiful, cool and loud. I can't wait for you to hear it. There is no release date yet since we'll be spending the earliest part of 2014 trying to find and follow the surest path for this music to reach you. As you can see in the pic below I'm a little beat up but I'm recovering and excited about what tomorrow holds... I'll keep you posted as things develop.
